After a weekend of spending on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is a chance to give back to those who need it most, and we need your help! Right now, we are caring for many cats and dogs, each relying on us for food, shelter, and vital medical treatment. On average, we spend $20,000–$25,000 every month on veterinary care alone. These costs are the reality of supporting animals with complex needs, and they are what allow us to keep saying yes when it matters most. Recently, donations have been lower, leaving us stretched as we work to meet the needs of every animal in our care. Despite many of the animals we help coming from government-run or supported research facilities, there is no government funding to assist with their medical expenses. These costs fall entirely on us, and on the generosity of people who believe in what we do.
